care technicians
Those who are service oriented and wish to take up healthcare as career
need not necessarily be a doctor, which is the top most in this profession
and you need to be really brilliant to become one. There are so many other
health care related jobs to choose from. You need to be well qualified to
become a medical or healthcare worker. It involves a lot of sensitive and
important information. There are so many fields related to health care,
they include nursing, physiotherapist, lab assistant, Medical Technician,
x ray technician, Pharmacy Technician Medical administrator, Medical Assistant,
Medical Records and health information Technician, Medical Billing and Coding
Specialist., Dietician in the hospital.
All these people need some qualification to get the post; a nurse has to
get a nursing degree, a pharmacist a B. Pharm so that he knows a little
bit about the medicines, Physiotherapist to do a degree in Physiotherapy,
Administrator to have a hospital Management course, and so on. They will
be paid depending on their experience and the qualification in the field.
Only those who get good training after getting their degree can do their
work efficiently.
First choose the field in which you want to enter health care and get good
qualification from a reputed college and then try to get a job in a hospital
where you will get good training. Then if you get a chance you can go abroad
and work or serve for your countrymen.
Becoming a nurse you need to be really service-minded then only you can
do your work with dedication which is really needed in this field. The doctors
do the major part of treatment and the rest is done only by the nurses.
They take care of the post operative treatment. So the nurse should understand
her duties to the patient and treat them as small kids since everybody tends
to become weak and tender when we are ill.
Next would be the physiotherapist job that does most of the post operative
work by giving confidence to the patient for quick recovery. The sick patience
need reassurance from somebody that they are getting better day by day which
is the major part of the treatment.
The Lab technicians and theater technicians also play a vital role in the
health care. Most of the diagnosis is based on the lab results so if the
lab technician makes a single mistake it is going to affect the health of
the patients so he needs to extra care in his work. The theater technician
assists the doctor in the theater. He needs to be a helping hand for the
doctor acting with reflex by giving assistance whenever needed. The administrative
also have full responsibility in running the hospital.
